Today's Counsellee Meeting

Today's meeting was in the seminar room.

1) We chanted 1 round together with Mother Urmila


2) Quesitons and Answer session with Mother Urmila.

Topics raised were: how to overcome unwanted anarthas, why do obstacles increase when you come to KC?, learning to be faithful to Krsna.


Mother Urmila stayed for an hour and then left for another ladies sanga (in the ladies ashram) at 7pm.

3) Setting a date for the next Sunday Feast - we agreed on Sunday 23rd May.

You have been warned !!

4) Group appreciation and present giving to Debbie as it was her birthday last week.

5) Prasadam .....!

The death of the weak heart

Need to over come the petty weaknesses in the heart.

She said and he said that...

and

He does this and she does not do that ...

Who cares???

The reality is that we are all going to DIE someday and when that happens all we have is EACH OTHER.

We need Vaisnavas to chant at our deathbed - or can you guarantee you will be in a sound state of mind to do it yourself?

So we have to be really fixed in our sadhana and develop a taste to serve through hearing and chanting on a daily basis.

Sorry for not updating this blog!!

So much has been going on since I last wrote on this...

In a nutshell I am getting engaged later this month and then married in June !!!!!

AAARRGGHHH!!!!

Let's just say I never planned for this way back in Jan when I wrote my last blog.
