Today was the first Ladies Sanga Meeting at ISKCON-London.
It was organised by Bhaktin Shital, Param Sundari dd and myself.
We had kirtan, Krsna katha, some more kirtan and than prasadam.
There were 7 ladies who attended - 2 of whom were newbies.
It was a sweet programme and increased the feeling of fellowship.
This concept of fellowship is important in Krsna Consciousness - if you feel that you belong and are loved than you stick around longer. You feel someone cares for you and also you feel accountable too. If you don't attend festival days or don't chant... someone will pull you up. And that is good. That is required.
Spiritual life is hard enough in this material world - like swimming up stream - as it is a dyametrically opposed function in this universe where everything comes natually down.
So I am glad these meetings are going to be monthly.
We all need someone to support us and to be able to associatate with like minded individuals.
