Sometimes at piers you see large barge boats being pulled by small tug boats.
This is because the large barge boats have their engine turned off and so are easily pulled by a small tug boat.
Similarly the powerful spirit soul - part and parcel of Lord Krsna - is being pulled by dead inanimate matter - our material body, mind and senses - because we have fallen into a slumber in our conditioned state.
