I personally (by Krsna and Guru's mercy) chant all my rounds in one go and find it is so powerful to defend myself against the onslaught of Maya.
One time Brhat Mrdanga Prabhu said if we chant all our rounds in one go, in the morning, than it is like putting on spiritual body armour against the material energy.
